The Projects Being Coordinated and the Tenders Being Participated with the Chinese Companies
Edirne-Kars High Speed Railway Construction Project
Scope:
The total lenght of the project to be composed of Edirne-Istanbul-Ankara – Kırıkkale-Yerköy –Sivas – Erzincan – Erzurum – Kars as main line as well as Yerköy- Kayseri and Erzincan-Trabzon as secondary lines will be 2020 KM approximately.
Project Details:
The existing Ayaş Tunnel on the Istanbul- Ankara line will be used in the framework of this project and this line will be used only for passenger transportation with 350 KM/H speed.
Other phases will be designed for passenger and cargo transportation.
Current Situation:
The proposal studies and the negotiations are going on.
The related governmental institutions of the Republic of Turkey and the People’s Republic of China are continuing their studies for providing the appropriate credit from the People’s Republic of China and constructing the line (approximately 2500 KM) by the joint venture composed of Turkish and Chinese Companies, and the support is being given to these studies through the coordination and efforts of Mr. Hasan ÇAPAN.
